SpinifexIT to sponsor the 2013 CMU New Venture Competition

ATLANTA, Georgia (March 5, 2013) –

SpinifexIT is pleased to announce that it will participate in the 2013 Central Michigan University New Venture Competition on March 22, 2013 and will sponsor the competition’s Best Technology Award.

The New Venture Competition is open to students of Central Michigan University and Michigan Tech University. Participating students work closely with faculty, mentors, and experienced entrepreneurs to develop ideas and concepts to prototypes and business models with the goal of creating a sustainable business.

Each entry is judged, with over $65,000 in start-up capital and in-kind services awarded to the winning student ventures. Some of the award categories include Best Social Venture, Highest Growth Potential, Most Impact on Michigan, Best Technology and Spirit of Entrepreneurship. The top award is $30,000 for Best Overall Venture.
