Saving Time With Easy Reporter’s Field Search
Easy Reporter makes it easy to report on data across SAP HCM, including Personnel Administration, Org Management, Time, Payroll, Payroll Posting, Benefits, and Tax. That’s reporting capabilities that cover more than 20,000 fields! Easy Reporter reported on around 17,000 fields when I first started with SpinifexIT three years ago. In other words, the solution keeps getting better and better.

With over 20,000 fields to choose from, finding the right one can be challenging for some users. Easy Reporter’s “Set Filter” tool was designed to help users save time by quickly finding the field that they’re looking for. For example, let’s say you want to put Company Code on your report. Company Code appears in many places in SAP, but where is the field I need located in Easy Reporter? With the Set Filter feature, you can apply a filter as shown in the next image and Easy Reporter will return the location of every place Company Code is located in the field listings. You can also search by technical field name for those technical folks out there.
The field search tool is just one of the many usability improvements we’ve made to Easy Reporter. It will not only improve the speed of advanced users finding fields, but will also help users who have never used SAP before locate the information they want to report on.
