What is the pricing model ?

There is an installation fee and an ongoing license fee. Each situation is unique and the pricing is determined by the number of active employees on file, the number of SAP instances and the number of countries in which the employees are based. The best way to determine an indication of price for your situation is to book a Free Webinar or have a representative call on you so we can provide an accurate pricing structure.

What is the support process?

Each SpinifexIT solution has a detailed Service Level Agreement (SLA). Each SLA details the Scope of Service Level Agreement, the Support Model (how it operates) , the country specific contact information, the severity levels and response times, the process for inquiry resolution. Each also includes a Maintenance Release Policy, a Release Schedule (Software and Supporting Documentation), Software Naming Standards and Configuration. All support and service items are tracked via an online database that is accessible to customers. All response times and resolution priorities are detailed in the SLA.

What if there is new functionality I want added?

A formal Enhancement Request Process is in place that allows customers to submit enhancement requests to the solutions. Enhancements to the SpinifexIT products can be requested at any time via the process detailed in the Service Level Agreement (SLA). If it is something that will be of benefit to other customers and has already been requested by other customers, this will most likely be prioritised into the next release of the software (depending upon the work required). In this case, it would be absorbed into the SpinifexIT Research and Development costs.

If the enhancement is very specific to a customer’s needs, then it may be necessary for the customer to fund this. This enhancement is often a much reduced cost as opposed to creating the report from scratch as all we would generally be doing is to add the code to read the data required.

In some cases, an enhancement may be a general enhancement, but the customer may not want to wait until time can be allocated to put this into a following release. In this case, it will need to be funded by the customer. This will be looked at on a case by case basis and should be referred back to SpinifexIT.

I am not looking to upgrade for some time – will my release be supported?

SpinifexIT maintains only one single version of its software. This means that even if you are on an old release, you will still be supported and continue to receive updates to the software. However, depending upon the age of the release, some functionality may not be possible to deliver. It is recommended that a customer stay with SAP supported systems releases to ensure they can take advantage of any new functionality.

Yes – The Easy Reporter has been modified to work within a Unicode environment.

What are the minimum client or server requirements?

There are no minimum requirements. The SpinifexIT reports all use the existing SAP data, so other than the execution of these reports, there is no overhead. The execution of the reports is generally no additional overhead as they are to replace manual reconciliation and reporting processes, which often mean that the load on the SAP system is less.
