New regulations like the gender-pay gap legislation are constantly changing the way payroll is run in the United Kingdom. These laws add complex reporting requirements that many SAP payroll customers may struggle to meet. According to the new gender-pay gap legislation, for example, companies larger than 250 employees will be asked to publish the difference in salaries between male and female employees in an effort to end gaps in pay between genders.
